Today was an early start when I rose at 5am to make the trip into Grand Tetons National Park to shoot the sunrise. I was a little worried when I stepped outside of the Bentwood Inn to find a thick fog had set in overnight. I decided to risk it anyway and make my way toward the famous Mormon Row Barn.  Mormon Row Barn (Moulton Barn), also known as the most photographed barn in America, is part of a row of six homesteads on Mormon Row and is a favorite of tourists and photographers alike. Upon arrival at Mormon Row Barn I found the thick fog covering the area as well, many other photographers were also showing up but quickly turning around because of the fog. I decided to stick it out and see if it would burn off, and too my luck it did.

One of the reasons I’m staying in the Tetons on my way down to the Southwest (besides my love for the Tetons) is the wonderful folks at the Bentwood Inn. The Bentwood is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Jackson Hole and they are friends of mine. So when I heard they needed to update some old photos I was eager to volunteer! This is really my first experience with architectural photography so I would love to hear some comments/advice in the comments section below.
